Our Story

Rooted Craftsmanship for Budding Ideas

Magnolia Carpentry Creations was only founded in 2023, but its born of a dream at least 20 years in the making, and based on nearly twice that experience. Around 10 years old, Cody knew he would build a business one day, and he knew just the person he wanted to do it with: his dad, Adam. Fast-forward a few decades, a couple college degrees, and a few relocations and the father/son duo would find the right opportunity.

Adam learned the carpentry trade from his father at an early age, and continued in carpentry and repair work (both private and commercial) after school until changing directions. He made a career in the electrical power industry, starting as a meter reader and retiring from the same company as a troubleshooter, his favorite position, where he was working directly with customers to identify their problems and develop solutions. After relocating to Angelina county several years ago and taking time to do some building of his own, Adam was reminded of his love for carpentry and missed helping others. Adam approached Cody with his idea, and Magnolia Carpentry Creations was born.

A Family Company

Magnolia is a small, family owned & operated business. Most of our projects will be completed by our head carpenter, but some projects require additional craftsmen. For those projects, we leverage a skilled team of contractors to assist our head carpenter. Meet some of our team, and see what they do, below.
